To verify the quality of our products, we perform the following laboratory tests and measurements:
- hardness testing using the Brinell and Vickers methods (HBW/HRC),
- chemical composition analysis using the spectral method,
- micro and macro structure tests (grain size, micro purity, presence of internal structural defects, etc.),
- grain flow direction inspection,
- mechanical testing of strength properties (Rm, Rp0,2, A5) and impact strength (KCU2, KV),
- geometric measurements on a 5-axis CMM measuring machine and contourograph,
- other according to customer requirements.
We also use the following non-destructive testing (NDT) methods to detect surface and subsurface defects in materials:
- magnetic particle testing (MT) – testing on a magnetic bench in UV light, enabling the detection of surface and subsurface defects,
- penetrant testing (PT) – testing using the fluorescent method, performed on aluminium and titanium alloys, enabling the detection of surface defects,
- ultrasonic testing (UT) – testing with a portable flaw detector, enabling the detection of surface and subsurface defects,
- electrical conductivity test - tests to confirm the quality of heat treatment, mainly used for products made of aluminum alloys.
